1. How do I get to your Crafts Store?
We are located at 6680 South 300 West, Murray, Utah. Use I15 and take the 7200 South exit (eastbound) to 300 West. Turn North on 300 West, travel approx 5 blocks north to the Wood Connection Crafts.
2. Do you ship?
Currently, we are unable to ship merchandise. Please watch our website for further information.
3. What if I am from out of town/State. How do I purchase your product?
You are always welcome to call or fax an order. If you have a friend or family member that lives nearby they may pick up your order and ship it to you. Please call ahead to place your order so it will be ready when you come to town.

5. How long does it take to receive an order?
Depending on what time of year it is, we usually complete orders in one to two weeks. We are very busy from September to December and need extra time to complete orders. Please call ahead to check ETA status.
Metal orders run two to four weeks. Orders can be picked up after 2 PM on the due date.
6. Do you do custom wood orders?
Yes we do! A complete and detailed pattern must be provided before we can begin your order. We do not design. Each custom order is priced according to the material needed and the difficulty of the pattern. You can fax pattern information.
We do take custom frame orders. A frame is measured from the back inside dimensions. A measurement for the border is also needed. Please call for pricing.
7. Do you take custom metal orders?
We have a few standard templates that you can choose from. The size, font and placement of lettering can not be altered. We do not custom metal signs. Metal orders must be placed in store by completing an order form.
8. Do you take custom vinyl orders?
Just like the metal signs, we have a limited selection of custom vinyl. Names may be ordered for our “Family Home Evening Board” or our Clocks. Currently we offer black, white or cream. Orders must be placed in store. We will not take phone orders. Generally orders are complete in 2 weeks.
9. Do you offer a quantity discount?
The Wood Connection Crafts is a factory direct outlet store. Therefore, everything in our store is discounted. Price breaks may be possible on LARGE orders.
10. May I establish a business account?
Yes you can. We ask that you complete an application and have an up to date business license. We MUST have a copy of your license and sales tax exemption certificate on file. Utah State tax code does not offer tax exempt status to customers out of state. You must meet a $75 minimum each visit to receive a 20% discount.
11. Do you have a catalog?
Not yet. But, our website (thewoodconnection.com) is being updated daily and is very informative. We are always willing to answer any questions you may have by phone.
12. What is your return policy?
No cash returns. We do offer exchange or in-store credit. Holiday items are not exchangable two weeks before the Holiday. If the items are discontinued or on clearance we will not exchange it.
13. How do you apply glitter to your wood crafts?
There are 3 very effective ways to apply glitter:
- While paint is still wet sprinkle glitter on top. After it has dried, spray gloss or matte acrylic spray to help the glitter stay on.
- Apply glitter to wet top coat, Let dry and spray an additional coat of top coat.
- Use a spray adhesive or liquid glue and sprinkle glitter directly on wet surface
Tip-you can either sprinkle the glitter directly on the project or dip the project into the glitter. (Sprinkle glitter onto a cookie sheet)
Do not mix paint and glitter. This does not make glitter paint, it makes clumpy paint!
14. What craft stains do you use?
When staining crafts, feel free to use your choice of brands and colors. We use a water based wood stain by General Finishes in Medium Walnut, Antique Oak and Early American colors. You can find General Finishes at our store or at our Furniture Showroom.
15. How do I apply stain?
Apply stain to your project using a foam brush or rag. Wipe off with a clean rag.
16. What method do you use to finish projects.
Paint- with a sponge brush right on the wood
Sand- sand edges for an antiqued look
Stain- apply stain over the entire project, wipe off with rag. This step applies to “glazing” also.
Top coat- spray your project with an acrylic spray in your choice of sheens
